Tahlia Skaines Weds Jake Suj in Custom Pallas Couture

Tahlia Skaines wears custom Pallas Couture for an unforgettable wedding celebration in Bali

Australian content creator Tahlia Skaines married Jake Suj in Bali wearing a custom Pallas Couture wedding gown created for the occasion.

Set against the tropical landscape of Bali, the celebration brought together modern destination style and timeless bridal elegance, with Tahlia's ceremony gown forming the centrepiece of her wedding-day look.

Designed with the distinctive structure and craftsmanship of the Pallas atelier, the strapless gown featured a sculpted corseted bodice, a clean fitted silhouette and a dramatic train that created effortless movement throughout the ceremony.

A Custom Pallas Couture Wedding Gown

For her ceremony, Tahlia chose a silhouette defined by simplicity, proportion and precision.

The strapless corseted bodice created a sculptural foundation through the waist, before flowing into an elongated skirt and statement train. Rather than relying on excessive embellishment, the design allowed the construction, silhouette and fabric to become the focus.

It is an approach that sits at the heart of Pallas Couture: creating gowns where meticulous pattern making and corsetry shape the body while maintaining a sense of softness and femininity.

From the architecture of the bodice to the length and movement of the train, every element worked together to create a bridal look that felt contemporary while remaining timeless.

Modern Bridal Styling

Tahlia completed the ceremony look with a long veil, diamond stud earrings and her engagement ring, keeping the styling deliberately refined and allowing the gown to remain the focal point.

Her hair was swept into a classic updo, creating a clean neckline that complemented the strapless silhouette and the structured proportions of the corset.

The understated styling gave the entire look a sense of effortless sophistication. Against the relaxed surroundings of Bali, the couture construction of the gown created an elegant contrast between destination wedding ease and traditional bridal craftsmanship.

A Destination Wedding in Bali

Tahlia and Jake celebrated their wedding surrounded by friends and family in Bali, creating an intimate destination setting for the occasion.

The ceremony was followed by a 90-minute cocktail hour, with guests gathering around a champagne tower and enjoying margaritas and canapés before moving into the evening reception.

Tahlia's bridesmaids wore matching chocolate-brown halterneck gowns, introducing a rich neutral palette that complemented the tropical destination and created a striking contrast against the bride's white couture gown.

Later in the evening, Tahlia changed into a short white strapless dress with a voluminous hem for the reception celebrations, creating a playful second bridal look while preserving the Pallas Couture gown as the defining look of the ceremony.

From Provence to Bali

The wedding followed the couple's engagement in July 2025, when Jake proposed during a trip to the South of France.

The proposal took place at Château de Berne in Provence, beginning their engagement against another memorable destination before the couple ultimately chose Bali for their wedding celebration.

From a French vineyard to a tropical ceremony in Bali, the journey culminated in a bridal look that reflected Tahlia's own style while remaining unmistakably Pallas.

The Pallas Couture Bride

Every Pallas Couture gown begins with the woman who will wear it.

Through considered proportions, sculpted corsetry and meticulous construction, each design is created to feel individual to the bride while preserving the craftsmanship and distinctive design language of the Pallas atelier.

Tahlia's custom gown captured that philosophy beautifully. Clean, confident and refined, the silhouette required little embellishment to make an impact, allowing its structure and craftsmanship to speak for themselves.

For brides drawn to modern silhouettes with couture construction, the look demonstrates how restraint can be every bit as powerful as intricate embellishment.
